All our classes aim to give and improve your understanding of working on a professional Film, Television Show or Commercial. Learning the key technical methods to excel as a professional screen actor.

Our screen acting classes are designed to give you the tools to use your imagination, experience, and emotion to create characters grounded in truth and humanity. Our technical exercises are specifically designed to free actors from the hindrances inherent in real world screen acting, leaving them prepared and capable of retaining performance levels and creating truthful characters under any circumstances. Our tutors Gary Grant and Bruce Melhuish are award-winning filmmakers in their own right and have built a syllabus around the wealth of technical knowledge and real-world practical experience that they want to share with you.
Exercises on our courses are designed specifically to equip students with the knowledge and ability to confidently perform on camera.

Gary Grant is an award-winning Actor, Writer, and Director. As an actor, he has been a regular feature within British television and film since 1999. Credits include a year in Channel 4's 'Hollyoaks', three years in ITV's 'The Bill' and various episodic appearances on flagship shows such as 'Dangerfield' and 'Casualty'. Film credits include the critically acclaimed 'The glass man' and soon to be released 'Welcome to Curiosity' various theatre credits including his role as 'Silver' in the premiere run of Jim Cartwright's acclaimed play 'Hard Fruit' at The Royal Court.
Gary made his directorial debut in 2010 with the multi award-winning 'Daisy's Last Stand' and has since gone on to direct three further films including 'Lighter' for Solaris Productions.
As a lecturer, Gary is highly regarded for specialising in a real-world, practical based system of learning that sees actual step-by-step progression.
Bruce has over 12 years of experience working within the film and media industries as a cinematographer and also as a producer and post-production specialist. Bruce has shot several feature films and dozens of commercials, corporate videos, and music videos. As a producer Bruce has taken three features from budgeting, raising finance, scheduling and then all the way through production and delivery.
Bruce is currently shooting and producing a number of feature films and also runs The Casting Cabin's technical department so he has a wealth of knowledge across all aspects of the filmmaking process from casting through production and post-production.
